We looked up the Webwise website which showed various videos about internet safety. We also completed a worksheet about staying safe online.
In groups, we were given the task of designing a catapult.

Today, John Grady from Killarney Fire Brigade Station, spoke to the class about fire safety.
Killarney-based seanchai and entertainer Ray O’Sullivan visited our school on Oct 2nd to conduct storytelling for our pupils in memory of Éamon Kelly the famous storyteller from Gullane, Gneeveguilla.
The pupils are very busy collecting the Aldi stickers to be in with a chance of winning €50k for our school. Please donate any stickers that you may have at home.
We had a visit from Anyone 4 Science during the week. 5th and 6th were very busy learning about the different types of Engineers. They made Animatronic Hands using simple materials. Here are some pictures of their fantastic work.
